Meet our 2026 Feldco Scholarship Recipient, Maddie. Maddie is pursuing a nursing degree at Grand Valley State University with a focus in pediatrics, a path that reflects not just her academic ambition, but the values she has built her life around. Compassion initiative and a genuine commitment to the people around her are what set Maddie apart.
What makes Maddie remarkable is not just where she is headed, but everything she balances to get there. Juggling school, athletics, volunteer work, and a job, she approches each responsibility with the same level of dedication and heart. She does not just show up - she leads by example.
Her involvement speaks for itself. As an active member of the Student Nurses Association and a volunteer with the Make-A-Wish foundation, Maddie has already begun building the kind of career that goes beyond a title. She understands that great patient care starts long before you ever set foot in a hospital.
